What changes the price
Two dogs, two very different bills. Four things move the number more than anything else.
Your dog’s size
Bigger dogs eat more, need more space and more handling, so large-dog rates sit above small-dog rates. Many cageless hotels cap at roughly 15 kg, which is why small-dog options often look cheaper.
Cageless vs caged
Cage-free floor time and private suites cost more than a standard run or crate. It buys comfort and movement — but “cageless” is claimed loosely, so ask exactly what the setup is.
Level of supervision
Round-the-clock supervision, live updates, solo walks and one-to-one attention all add cost. A busy facility minding many dogs is priced differently from a sitter with one guest.
The season
September, November and the December–January and CNY window are peak. Expect higher rates, surcharges and early sell-outs during these periods.
Affordable boarding
The budget end starts from about S$12–25 a night — typically a home-based sitter or a shared run minding a small dog. It can be perfectly good care, but the trade-offs are real: fewer staff, no dedicated quarantine or exercise areas, and more variance between operators. The one thing to never trade away is licensing. Cheaper is fine; unlicensed is not.

Luxury & facility suites
At the upper end, private suites run around S$50+ a day and buy space, comfort and closer supervision — a dedicated room, cage-free time, live photo updates and often solo walks. For anxious dogs, seniors, or owners away for a long stretch, that extra attention can be worth the premium.
Higher price does not automatically mean safer. A licensed facility with dedicated quarantine and clear records matters more than marble floors — which is exactly what we check before we match you.
Peak-season pricing
Boarding demand in Singapore is seasonal. It climbs in September, spikes again in November, and stays high right through the December–January travel period and Chinese New Year. In those windows the best boarders sell out weeks ahead, and some lift rates or add a peak surcharge on top of the ranges above.
The cheapest way to control your boarding cost is simply to book early — you lock a normal-season rate and you actually get your first choice of boarder instead of whoever is left.
