How these guides are written

Boarding is a trust purchase, so the writing standard has to match. Three rules we hold ourselves to.

Sourced, not recalled

Licensing, HDB and welfare claims link to the government page that says so.

Dated, not evergreen-washed

Prices carry the day they were observed. A stale figure is worse than none.

Gaps stated openly

Where only a vet or the operator can answer, we say so instead of filling the space.

About these guides

Who writes these guides?
dogboarding.sg does. We are an independent directory, not a boarding operator, so nothing here is written to flatter a facility we run. Where a claim is regulatory, we link the source: NParks, the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS), or HDB.
Is any of this veterinary advice?
No. Health guides here explain what boarders in Singapore commonly ask for and why, so you can have a better conversation with your vet. Vaccination timing, medication and anything clinical is your vet’s call, not ours.
How current are the prices you quote?
Every price on this site carries the date it was observed and the type of source it came from. Ranges are pulled from live operator rate cards and marketplace listings, not from memory. If we could not confirm a figure, we leave it out rather than guess.
Which guide should I read first?
If you have never boarded before, start with boarding vs daycare vs sitting to pick the right kind of care, then what to look for in a boarder. If you already have dates, go straight to vaccinations for boarding, because that one has a lead time.
