What dog boarding in Singapore means
Dog boarding in Singapore is paid overnight care for your dog — in a licensed boarding facility or a vetted sitter’s home — while you travel or work. It is the same service many owners search for as pet boarding: a safe, supervised place for your dog to stay for a set date range, from a single night to a few weeks over the year-end and Chinese New Year peak.
Because leaving your dog is a trust purchase, the single most important thing to check is licensing. Any business that boards dogs for payment in Singapore must hold an AVS pet boarding licence, issued by the Animal & Veterinary Service under NParks. We are an independent directory — we do not board dogs ourselves and hold no licence — so our job is to compare licensed boarders, daycares and sitters across the island and match you with one that fits your dog, your dates and your area.
Published rates run from about S$12 a night on budget marketplaces to roughly S$52 a day for a private suite at a licensed facility, with in-home sitters commonly S$25–100 a night. What you pay depends on the type of care, your dog’s size, whether the stay is cageless, and how far ahead you book.
